so lets start from monday.

school, then jasmin and cedric came over and we made cookies that were really good!! tres yummy! then Volleyball league at the YMCA. i was a little nervous just because this was my first time and i didnt really know what to expect from it. and also because, i know how to play a little bit but not a lot. it turned out good though. but i was the inexperienced player on our team. lol. Lauren, Molly, and Joyce had to show me what to do a lot. it was fun though. i'm crazy sore!! hopefully once i get in shape i wont hurt so bad all over after monday nights. i thought it ended @ 9 but for the first two weeks it ends @ 8 so i had to use someones cell phone to call my mom, she was at the Hadleys.

yesterday. did school. read books.my mom took my brother to his jazz class at URI. then at 5:30 Paul and Shanell got here and me, them, and my dad went to the spaghetti dinner that my moms boss gave us tickets for. it was okay, not the best food, but it was free. we met them there at 7:00 cause his concert started at 7:30. me and shanell wandered around the Fine Art's building. i like the whole college life atmosphere. it was kind of cool cause on the way there we passed by all this sororitys and fraternitys. i decided that i like URI. its cool! so his concert started at 7:30, the bantas came. Brittany and I got really bored after bryant's jazz combo played. lol, it seems to go on and on and on and on.....and it all kind of sounded the same. so the Banta's decided to leave around 9:30. i went with them so they could just drop me off at home. but first we had to pick up dan who was at Jonathon smiths house. and on the way there, Brittany and I started hearing this really loud thumping noise that got louder as we picked up speed. it was sooo loud and scary!! we thought that it was a flat tire but it turned out to be something wrong with the brakes. then i go home around 10:30 and went on the computer. everyone else come back aruond 11.

its such a nice day today!! tonight i have softball practice. we're scrimmaging Tiffany and Shannster's team!

so...i got an Ipod...finally!1 its Black, 30GB, video. downloaded most of my cds already. now i've been downloading podcast's like mad! garsh, i love it! its beautiful! i should name it. or not.

its pretty amazing, i'm almost done w/my freshmen year. the school year always feels so long until you're done and then you're like, "wow, where did the time go?". strange. little me is growing up, amazing. i'll be a sophmore next year. 10th grade. only 3 more years left! and then its on to the next phase in my life. where ever God may lead me. okay, enough with the sentimental part, lol.

last night was the international dinner at the high school. Joyce invited me (thanks for the invite, Joyce! )and let me tell you, for $7 you could get a LOT of food. there was like 50-60 different dishes and then 20-30 different deserts. amazing. i feasted! it was mos def worth it. saw Shannster and Tiffany too.

now, i'm trying to get some money for the 30 hour famine, i've been slacking. wasnt at church last week and the week before that...well...i was just lazy i guess. tonight its band practice from 5:30-7:00 then youth group from 7:00-9:00. tomorrow at noon i start the 30 hour famine. ends at 7pm on sunday. i'm excited.

so long tuesday...hello wednesday

yup its almost the end of tuesday. you ever notice how the days go so fast? it was just yesterday that i was at camp berea but in reality it was about a month and a half ago. wowza. its so weird.

today, did school. sat around for a while until 3:30 pm when i went to the church for dance practice. the Bantas brought me home around 5:15pm. i really like the dance, its really fun. then i sat around reading for like 1 1/2 hours off any on.

finished reading Pop Princess by Rachel Cohn. loved it!! wow, its hard life being a professional singer. now i'm reading another book by her called The Steps and so far this book is really good too! shes a really good writer. never read anything of hers before this.

my mom hasn't even started making dinner yet. its 7:54 pm. shes in the shower, wait she just came out so it means food should be coming soon...hopefully.

today is Andrew's 5th birthday. wow, hes growing up fast. i love that kid, hes amazing. tomorrow is study, and i can give him the pedometer that he wanted for his bday to him. the reason he wanted a pedometer was that one wednesday night that i came over, they were watching Arthur on the telly and him and Buster were using pedometers. and so he wanted one. i got Matthew one too. i have a feeling this is going to be one of those "toys" that they play with for about a day (or less) then decide its boring. lol. thats okay though. it'll be fun to watch them get all excited about it! :)

okay well i'm going to recap what was in my looong post the other day.

friday night- Joyce's senior Project, it was awesome!! i can't imagine how much work it must of took. great job Joycie!
saturday Brittany came over cause her parents and my parents were at friends house all day. so we watched Real Women have Curves which was sooo dumb. nothing happens, really boring. then later we watched The Four Feathers which was realllly GOOD! probably the only historical war movie i really like! heath ledger and kate hudson are in. the beautifulness of heath sure adds to the greatness of the movie. i was sooo into the movie.

we just finished Season 1 of LOST. amazing, it was wonderful. but theres like 50 unanswered questions. i did notice that they made the last episode 80 minutes instead of 40. i cant wait for season 2 to come out on dvd!!

i hate going to the dentist, not just because they poke and prod at your teeth and gums like theres no tomorrow but because the dentist is kind of mean sometimes and she always has bad news like, "your teeth are beautiful (she has to say that) but you have 3 cavities". but thankfully today i went for the normal check up and i dont have a single cavity! sweet!

yesterday i had "dance" practice for this song that me, eleisha, kaitlin, brittany, and shanell are going to do at church on April 9th. its really cool actually, its to the song "Now Behold the Lamb". we all have solos, which i thought would be scary but its really fun! :) i'm excited! i like interperative dancing!

had a semi boring day...except for my conversation with Livvy!

did school, and then just kind of sat around and read.

called Olivia and talked to her for like 1 1/2 hours!! wowza, that phone call was so long the phone said low battery! it was a great conversation...pretty much just talked about life and how much we want to see each other. wahhhh she lives 4 hours away! i miss my Livvy girl! we're hoping that i can go down there for a week or so during the summer. when Allyssa answered the phone i could have sworn it was Olivia!! they sound so much alike! i love olivia...shes so majorly amazing!

Cedric and Jasmin came at like 4:20. took care of them...Mike picked them up.

saturday night i babysat the Matthew and Andrew w/Brittany. Randy was home but Shelby was out. a policeman came to their house. i guess Randy called the police to report his stolen truck. but he didnt tell us that a cop was coming so our hair was like everywhere cause we had just been wrestling. Elle, their dog, was barking like crazy and growling. the cop thought that it was a prank cause there was no adult downstairs...he said into his walkie talkie thing, "theres been some confusion as to whether we were actually called here." he spoke a bit condisendingly to us. the boys thought they were in trouble at first! :) but it ended up being okay! slept overnight Brittanys house. watched The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants when we got back. went to church on sunday. stayed at brittanys all day and watched Walk the Line. i love that movie!

yesterday babysat Matthew and Andrew from 2:30 - 10:15. was with them when they got their 1st skateboarding lesson! lol. it was really cute. had a really fun time! i love those boys. their totally awesome! :) they are the most wonderful kids i've ever taken care of. ....post more later

so thursday was knitting, it was fun, i havent knitted in a while but im starting back up again :) i am so not letting joyce beat me!! had guitar practice for the womens day with Brittany and Deena from 7-8 then hung out for a while.

Yesterday....school. youth group was way fun!! Hattie came w/me. the Kuglers brought their Ga-Ga court so we played like 20 games of that!! so much fun! i think i won 2 times? i cant rememeber. but im sore today :) signed up for Battle Cry and cd of picture from Berea.

Big news....someone robbed our bank on thursday afternoon...and im so not kidding either. my mom went there like 30 minutes after it happened and the police were all there and it was closed. in the paper they show a picture from the video tape that they got of him. man thats freaky. i guess he didnt show a weapon but it was like typical robber...he was wearing like a ski mask and sunglasses. never thought that would happen here. he got away with an undisclosed amount of money :(

today...clean church and hopefully Brittany can get dropped off at the church so that we can babysit tonight. might go out with Hattie and Deena for dinner at the Pizza Place. not sure yet cause i dont know what time i have to babysit at. sleeping over night Brittanys tonight cause Bryant, and my mom and dad are going to districts for the swim team like really early tomorrow, like around 6:15am. me is mucho excited about my day. :D

saturday, we went to the church, cleaned, and then came back to our house to watch the Return of the King w/Mr. Banta and Dan. had dinner with them. my dad watched 2 episodes of LOST (!!!!!!!!) then we watched The Road to Morocco which has Bob Hope and Bing Crosby...i love those two guys!! their so funny and amazing crooners! :)

yesterday i went to church...then we picked up Georgina (my cousin) and went to Clinton Crossings. I took a necklace back to Aeropostale and then went to Fuzziwigs the candy store and got some candy. went to the Book Market because its closing down so their books are all on major sales. got 3 books and Georgie got 4. then we went to Le Gourmet Chef only because they have so many samples...hmmmm...we feasted! dropped her off around 4:30 then came home, had dinner and went to the Knights.

Matthew and Andrew are sooo adorable :) i was listening to Bryant's Ipod and Andrew comes over to me and wants to listen. so i gave him one of the ear buds and i had one. it was sooo cute. i even taught him how to work it. matthew was trying to sell his drawings for $1 so he could "save up to buy a car". today i'm babysitting them from 2:30-8:30.

Relay for Life party

so tonight was the Relay for Life party at a resort/hotel along the beach! Joyce invited me and I had soooooo much fun!! we got there, sat around for a while and then saw some of her friends. so we sat with them. her friend Brandon is really funny :) he reminds me of steve. hes even has longish shoulder length curly hair! he actually happens to be related to someone i know. sat around laughing and talking. then got up and danced to Cotton Eyed Joe and the Mocarana and YMCA. lol it was really fun!! i love to laugh! they had a full meal and appetizers too! yummy :) I had 3 (!!!) Shirley Temples. man those are good! nbsp;Joyce drove me home around 9:30 or so.

i'm very excited about doing the Relay for Life! now i have two things to ask people to sponser me for..Relay for Life and the 30 hour Famine. i hate asking people for money though...oh well.

I love hanging out with friends! :) friends are soo cool. My dad is watching Lost right now...and I'm hoping to read a little of The It Girl before i go to bed! my head hurts...

*edit Oh yeah i forgot to tell you about when Joyce saved the day!! at the hotel last night they had these luminarias and and so they were like a couple still lit. and suddenly off to our left these one luminaria bag goes up in flames!! like its a bag of flames! so Joyce rushes over her glass of ice and pours it on! and the couple that were sitting there blew it out. GO JOYCE!! she saved the day! :)

so its snowing today and right now...supposed to get anywhere from 3-6 inches. knitting club was canceled. but Joyce and Hattie decided to come over my house anyways. Joyce did some homework first then we just hung out. Hattie thought we were going to go sledding so i think she might have been dissapointed. Joyce stayed for dinner and we hung out for a while...played spoons and BS with my brother. i was going to have Joyce drop me off at the Knights but then my mom called and said that it was too icy and she'd rather me just stay home. so i finished watching Sixteen Candles and that movie is pretty d.u.m.b.

tomorrow i have school then a going to this party/event at a nearby resort with Joyce tomorrow night. I'm excited! hopefully my parents get home safely tonight! pray pray pray pray! :)

i'm so happy Joyce and Hattie came over today else i would have been really bored!!

talent show

the talent show on sunday went really well. the mime w/kaitlin and all us went well...i really wish i could have watched it though. oh well. the song w/brittany and bryant and i went well too...some little rough spots but it was good. both brittany and i could only really hear bryant's voice. the song with the youth band was awesome and a lot of fun! :) i love rockin' songs! there was lots of other amazing acts including Eleisha singing Held by Natalie Grant, Nicolas did some magic tricks, Mrs. Devaux told the story of Cinderella but mixed up the letters...it was hilarious! Mr. Boyden did a "funny human trick" which Joyce and Deena ended up doing. i guess i'm "humanly trick" challenged or something. it was really fun! and i seriously stuffed my self with pie. i didn't even eat until lunch time on yesterday cause i was still so full. yeah...i really ate a lot.

watched 3 episodes of Lost yesterday. its driving me crazy!! i want to know what happens soo bad. there are so many unanswered questions. hopefully i'll get to watch some more tonight. its insane...who would think of such an amazing and interesting plot? theres sooo many details....i wonder what shall happen. and i'll have you know that we dont have cable so i have to get the 1st season out of the library. so when the 1st season is over....i'll have to wait for the 2nd one to come out on DVD. patience....

May my life be a lovesong to you

so on thursday i went to my cousins house and slept over. watched some of the olympics on thursday night, got to see ice skaters! yay! i love ice skating! then on friday Nana picked me and Georgina, my cousin, to go to Clinton Crossings. I bought some jewelry at Aeropostale and some books at the book market which is going out of business so every hardbound book is $4 and every paperback is $2. Georgie and I were in heaven.... lol. we both love to read!

my mom picked me up at 4:00 and i went home, had dinner and went to youth group. saturday morning, we (the youth praise band) had a practice for the talent show tonight. we're doing the song "Your love is lifting me higher" by Jackie Wilson. all the singers had to learn it so at first it was really hard but now its soooo much fun!

so for the talent night at my church tonight, the youth band is doing the song above, brittany, bryant and i are doing "landslide". we're all singing and bryants also playing the piano for it. and then i'm in a mime that kaitlin is doing. so im going to be busy tonight at the show. its also a pie social so i shall be eating A LOT of pie tonight!! yummy! i love pie! :)

Joyce is coming to the talent show tonight too! okay well i need to get ready for tonight!! :)

camp berea = greatest times and memories :)

i love camp berea so much. theres a wonderful feeling, and i know its a God-filled feeling. that place is filled with his glory! when you come home you wonder why it doesn't feel like that everywhere. i never want to leave... so lemme just give you a run through of this past weekend. everyone who goes to camp is split into two teams :the blue circles and the red x's. our church was the blue circles like we have been in the past.

so Joyce and Hattie came with me this year (!!) and we drove with my mom, me, Bryant, Joyce, Hattie, Stemo (stevo or steve), and Chad. Those 3 guys are soo funny! so we drove approx. 4 hours up there, get out of the car and find out that theres no electricity or water in the cabins, only in the gym and dining hall. and they say it should be back by friday night maybe around midnight or so. well it didn't come back on till saturday evening around 5 I think. So most of the s slept in the loft above the gym and on the gym floor. we just brought all the matteress from the cabins down to the gym.

but I'll tell you about Friday night now....

brought our stuff up to our darkened cabin the we went down to the gym. Hung out, played around. Then the band came up. Man, DecembeRadio is soooo good. so far I've seen then 5 times, and they get better every time. So we sang a bunch of praise songs that I love. then Duffy Robbins, the speaker for the weekend, came up, he was great, really funny. and after that to make a long story short we went to bed.

On Saturday, we got up to see it snowing!! had breakfast, sang some worship songs and listened to Duffy. we found out that we couldnt go tubing cause it was to icy and dangerous. we were kind of bummed but we got over it and found lots of other fun stuff to do. you're never bored at Camp Berea! :) watched a bunch of relay races. The blue team won that game so we got to go to lunch first. after that we had free time from 1-6!!! i love free time.

They had a schedule posted on the doors of all the activities and the times that they were happening. Joyce, Hattie, Brittany and I were planning on going to the guitar workshop/jam session but Joyce and Hattie decided to do the Volleyball tournament instead. the guitar workshop was sooo much fun! it was from 4:00 - 5:30. just hanging with the band was awesome. I learned a lot of stuff too. i love playing my guitar!! :) it gives me great joy! i think we are DecembeRadios biggest fans. so far brittany and I have seen them 5 times! and we have a connection because Mr. Banta (their soundman when their up here) is my best friends dad! how cool is that?!?!?! :D

had dinner, then had the DecembeRadio concert. which knocked my socks off. the crowd was getting sooo into it, we were like screaming and jumping around, praising God!! THIS IS THE NOISE WE MAKE!

Had some more praise and worship time and then Duffy spoke again. Played a game called Quad Ball, which i like 4 way dodge ball. it got kind of violent and i got hit in the face a lot with the balls so i just sat on the stage. Our team won so we got ice cream sundays first. then we had free time for like and 1 1/2 hours. we mostly just danced around! muy fun!

okay now here is a great story...on Sat. afternoon the s in our youth group had decided that we wanted to sleep in the loft again just because it might not be warm enough in the cabins, even though the electricity turned on sat. early evening. so Hattie and I went up to our cabin, Amber, and we decided to get all our stuff together just so we wouldnt have to do that later. so we manage to get my stuff, hers, joyces, and my moms, and i'm talking a lot of stuff. i mean i was like waddling down the mountain with several bags on either shoulder and stuff in my arms. it was a lot of stuff. io dont get it. why do s pack so much?! i used like everything that was in there too! anyways so get get to the gym. and like an hour later we find out that a pipe burst in the bathroom of our cabin and theres like 1/2 inch of water in the bathroom and one half of the cabin. that was totally a GOD THING that we just decided to get all our stuff out! WOW!! How great is our God!! he knew all along what was going on!! Our Lord is awesome! had "cabin" discussions even though we didnt have a cabin. we just talked about what Duffy had said and talked about some questions.
So we slept up in the loft again. i didn't mind, it was comfy cause we had our matteresses.

woke up on sunday, had breakfast, had a session and worship time. after that we played "Yellow Fantasia" which was also violent, and I got hit in the face, my glasses fell off. so i sat on the stage again with Brittany, Aimee, Amanda, and Josette. Won the game so we had lunch first!

Mrs. Banta did the most adorable thing ever! i love her soooo much! she gave Josh, the bass player in the band, and bottle of apple cider vinegar for his throat cause he has to sing so much that his throat hurts alot. she's reccomended it to me and bryant when we have to sing or have a sore throat. it actually really works.

Drove 4 hours home. on the way, stemo used a yellow high lighter and drew on his face. we made a lady driving next to us laugh! :) the ride home went so much faster than the ride up.

none of us wanted to leave, Camp Berea is such an awesome, God-filled place. you can feel his presence! its a wonderful feeling! Joyce got obbsessed with carpetball!

I realized that I've never stayed in a cabin at camp. the first year, we stayed in the welcome center's conference room. last year we staying in these really nice little apartment like things, they werent cabins but that did have bunk beds.

my favorite part of camp this year was the praise and worship time with DecembeRadio. It was amazing! i also loved hanging out with my friends!! and im so happy Joyce and Hattie came with me! I hope they had as much fun as me!

I don't have a sweetheart to spend today with...oh well...my prince will come.

so last night I went sledding with Hattie at the park. I've never been sledding at night and it was soo much fun! called Joyce to see if she could come and had to leave a voice mail. had a lot of fun. My mom was in a meeting for the swim team at the YMCA so I just walked over there because I thought she would be done by 7:00. was totally wrong, and ended up waiting about 40 minutes in my wet clothes. was totally bored, but I overheard a lot of interesting conversations. came home and took a nice long hot shower. read my books. went to bed. end of story.

today, I. Had. To. Dissect. A. Crayfish. Ugh. it was sooo gross. I felt very nauseous the whole time. lol. then, after I disinfected myself and the table, I made hamburger helper for me and Bryant.

funny story, after I made the food, I put it in bowls for us and set them on the table. so Bryant picks up his bowl and theres like this "crayfish body part" on the table. I swear, it looked like an intestine or something, totally nasty. then we realized that it was...only...a piece of hamburger. very anti-climatic. lol, well I was sure glad that it was only a piece of hamburger. ugh, I hate dissecting animals.

3 days left till snow camp. yay. :) me is muy excited.

you know how in movies sometimes they have a couple minutes where theres just music and no one talks but you see different scenes or something? it always make me wonder what the soundtrack to my life would be. like if someone made a movie of my life, what songs would be on it? theres some songs i hear and its like, that song is sooo me. so my challenge...tell me what the soundtrack to your life would be.

today, i had a science test and i got 33 out of 36! i was very suprised since this was a hard module! :)

then i went to knitting and we all went to joyces to let her brother in and watch a movie, i only ended up knitting a little bit. it was fun tho. we watched mean girls. that movie is sooo funnny!! so far joyce and me are tied for 8 scarves. yeah thats a lot of scarves! :) theres pretty much a scarf for every color. a scarf for every outfit! lol!

i have to call my cousin tonight, take a history and test, and do some major knitting! oh , he busyness of my life!

snow camp is one week from tommorrow and im totally get majorly excited. this is like one of the high points of my winter!

superbowl sunday

so we (the youth band) did music at church yesterday, it sounded good i thought! :)

then bryant and I went home with the Bantas, had lunch, hung out, climbed a tree w/Brittany and had a photo shoot. I put our digital camera on timer and so it was funny when i pressed the button i climbed as fast as i could so we could get a picture with both of us! :D

Then we left around 2:45 for the superbowl party and to see decemberadio!! mr Banta had to get their early to help out with sound.

it was Pauls old church so he knew a bunch of people but for like the first half hour, Brittany and i just sat on some comfy couchs and talked. we also people watched! ;) the rest of our youth group got their about 45 minutes after us.

concert started. me, Eleisha, and Brittany were dancing around, and eventually we were the only people standing (sometimes kyle, steve, or bryant would stand) cause everyone else had sat down. so at the end of one of the songs, Josh, the bass player and lead vocalist, said "well, i guess we know who our real fans are!", and right after he said that, everyone who had been sitting down stood up. hahaha.

the concert was muy bien . then Brittany, Eleisha, and I got bored during the first half of the superbowl game so we played "the blob game". which is where someone gets a sheet of paper and draws a bunch of blobs on it and you go around and you have to make something out of the blobs. it was fun. eventually Paul, Kyle, Bryant, and Jason joined in.

then DecembeRadio got up and did the half time show, instead of watching the Rolling Stones. it was good, kind of short though. and then they had prizes and a raffle and stuff. when you first came in you filled out this little thingy. so suddenly i hear my name being called, and everyone from our youth group starts cheering and i was like "hey thats my name!" :) the only stuff left was a patriots hat, patriots shirt, and this toy guns that shoot out foam discs. so i got the toy guns. their pretty cool actually.

so then i decided to go home early with the bantas, sandra, and toby because i really dont care about the game!

this is the 4th time i've seen DecembeRadio, and they are soooooo good! they are Billboard magazine in the top 10 bands to look out for in 2006!! is that awesome or what??!! i'll be seeing them at snow camp in two weeks! they have also got a new cd coming out! im really excited!

bad new, today i woke up with a cold, not a bad one. wow, long post.
